85/86 were short rod motor’s 87-01 they went to the long rod, cool bike keep them old CR 2 strokes alive

*I get all my carbs from ALI-EXPRESS anf they work great IF you put the right jets inside. All Chinese carbs come jetted for SEA-LEVEL use only! The other option is to buy a Chinese carb from a US source since they are ALL made in China anyhow. Too much smoke! Buy some BeNOL 2 stroke oil for that "sweet" exhuast smell and NO-MORE-SMOKE!!!*

Had an 07 Ford Freestyle, alternator was behind the pass wheel well. Once the tire was removed, then got the weather shield & wiring off, you had to rotate the unit & had less than 1/8" to slide it out... Was upset, even wrote a letter to the engineering dept. If they had put a removable panel, or something... Had to rack the motor off the mouse vs to get clearance... Lol!

Bought my son a 2007 Kawasaki 110 4 stroke back then, he used it for a few years & grew out of it, we used a bunch @ the family ranch, then we traded it in for a newer 4 wheeler. They’re great fun bikes

Discoloring is common on many new cranks due to heat being used to press fit the pin. Discoloration will occur due to excess heat and bad bearing but isn't always indicative of a bad rod. I check the wear pattern on the cylinder. Bad rod bearing stresses the exhaust side of the cylinder. Sometimes they still feel tight up and down even with a bad bearing, but that is a good place to start.
